Munitions Response Activities

Munitions response activities at the FLBGR include safely locating, identifying, and disposing of military munitions.

To Date:(11 June 2010)

• Over 4,270 acres have been cleared
• Over 1,418,835 inert items have been recovered (not including munitions scrap)
• Over 22,334 live items have been identified and appropriately disposed/demilitarized
• Over 583,350 pounds of munitions scrap have been collected
