Munitions Response Activities

Munitions response activities at the FLBGR include safely locating, identifying and disposing of military munitions.

To Date:(15 January 2010)

• Over 4,000 acres have been cleared
• Over 1,404,076 inert items have been recovered (not including munitions scrap)
• Over 16,510 live items have been identified and appropriately disposed/demilitarized
• Over 541,030 pounds of munitions scrap have been collected
