Munitions Response Activities

Munitions response activities at the FLBGR include safely locating, identifying and disposing of military munitions.

To Date: (3 March 2008)

• Over 3,450 acres have been cleared
• Over 1,259,400 inert items have been recovered (not including munitions scrap)
• Over 4,096 live items have been identified and appropriately disposed/demilitarized
• Over 459,576 pounds of munitions scrap have been collected.
